BELOW ARE A FEW QUESTIONS RELATING TO GoCardless PAYMENTS


Payments

Long gone are the days when you only had a choice to pay with cash or cheques for these services and lets face it, the majority of the time we all prefer not to carry cash around or even keep it in our homes. With this in mind, Nathan has introduced two additional methods in which to pay for his services. These being; PayPal and a Direct Debit service through a financial company called "GoCardless"
Direct Debit!

The easiest way to pay (especially for the continued service of window cleaning) is by direct debit and you will be pleased to hear how simple it is to register, even for ones who admit that using a computer is not for them!

But first some details for you on how it works. The direct debit is processed by Nathan, via the company "GoCardless" (which TS1 CLEANING pays a fee for doing so) and you will receive an email within 5 days to confirm the date in which your service was carried out, ie windows cleaned and the charge for that service. Finally it will also show the date in which the amount will be debited from your account and please note that this is usually 7 working days AFTER the date of the service carried out. For example:

"Your windows were cleaned on 01/01/2018 and the amount to be debited is £10.00 due to be taken on 07/01/2018. Thank you."

With paying for your services from Nathan by Direct Debit it will ensure prompt payment is made with relevant ease to yourself as it takes away the need to buy out precious time from your personal schedule to either send a bank transfer or write a cheque that needs to be posted or to carry money on your person and wait for an unannounced knock at the door from Andy collecting on an evening. Instead, you can simply take comfort in knowing that within 7 days you will have been notified and payment made. It is that simple!

How to register for Direct Debit

Listed below are some of the common questions you may have in regards to setting up a direct debit and if your concern is not listed, then please contact Andy who will be happy to answer your concerns!

Q: I haven't had my windows cleaned this month, will payment still be taken automatically?
A: NO, payment is only ever taken AFTER your windows have been cleaned.

Q: I normally have the fronts & backs cleaned, will I get charged the full amount if only the fronts are cleaned?
A: NO, the D\D payment system by GoCardless is a variable Direct Debit meaning I will only collect the amount due for that particular window clean.

Q: How do I know when payment is to be collected?
A: A payment is generally collected 3-5 days after your windows have been cleaned. You will also receive an email prior to payment being taken which informs you of the date and the amount due to be collected.

Q: Can I cancel/stop this payment if i don't want to use it anymore or if i cancel my window cleaning service?
A: YES, you have full control as you do with any Direct Debit payment set up
